Enjoy a tour on the Bay Duck

It’s a bus, it’s a boat, it’s both! Ever driven into the water? We have, many times!

Hawke’s Bay’s only amphibious duck takes you on a one-hour tour, showing you our Art Deco highlights. It’s a fun and informative way to learn about the area.

The tour has spectacular views as it drives through Napier, then straight into the sea before heading back to the Information Centre. It’s fun, adventurous and completely unique.

The Duck seats up to 34 passengers.

Tours and Pricing

One-hour tour

Departs from the Napier i-SITE at 11.00am, 1.30pm and 3.00pm daily and takes approximately 1 hour.

Adults: $50.00, Children: $30.00 (5 – 14 years), 4 and under FREE

Family Pass: $130 (Includes 2 adults and up to 3 children)
